Nota : On pressboard applied an even layer of white clay, which is covered in black ink. With a sharp knife artist scratched a lot oflines in the picture. One image – thousands of strokes. Once the lines scratched, Cristina Penescu often does the „wounded” the surface of another thin coat of mascara – and again takes up the knife. Thus, one can achieve tones and enhance the realism of the work. Sometimes the artist paints the image obtained, and the color illustrations is very difficult to see hints of the techniques grattazha.
